Cameo Records

Cameo was a successful label during the 1920s, founded in 1922 as a budget label. They were absorbed into the American Record Corporation in the Cameo-Pathé-Plaza merger of 1929.

Other Labels Produced by Cameo

Lincoln was a budget label produced by the Cameo Record Company starting in 1924 and continuing until 1930. This example dates to 1927.

Romeo was produced by Cameo and continued by the American Record Corporation into the 1930s. See the ARC's page for more examples of Romeo. This example dates to 1928.
